What does it mean that GSI is 100% employee-owned?
Through our ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), every GSI team member is a direct owner in the company. When we do well, everyone benefits. That ownership mentality shapes how we approach every project—with accountability that goes beyond a paycheck.
How does GSI work across 11 states from one location?
Our base is in the Southeast, and our crews are experienced with interstate work across Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Texas. Our preconstruction team coordinates logistics the same way whether a job is in Atlanta or across the region—early, thoroughly, and without surprises.
What makes working with GSI different from other glazing contractors?
Three things: we self-perform everything, we get involved early, and our entire team has skin in the game as employee-owners. You won’t find a subcontractor more invested in the success of your building.
Does GSI participate in design-assist and early preconstruction?
Yes, and we prefer it. Getting involved at schematic design or early DD gives us the chance to optimize system selection, flag coordination issues before they cost money, and align with the architect’s intent before anything is committed to paper.
